Birthday Dinner

Tonight Billy took Grandma and I out to dinner for my birthday dinner. My actual birthday isn't until tomorrow, but tomorrow is Sunday and since we don't go out on Sunday's, tonight was definitely a better option. We went to Texas Roadhouse because I love steak and their rolls. What I didn't know was that they make you sit on a saddle when it's your birthday. Here are a few pictures to document that. We had a great time though, and definitely got filled up!
Here I am on the saddle. They announced how old I was and everything. Not that I am sensitive about my age, but I wonder if they announce everyones age....

Here we are at our table after dinner!

Here's Billy and me. I am so blessed to have such a loving and respectful husband. He is always telling me how great I am. I know that is unusually for most relationships, and for that I definitely grateful. He is the best and I love him!

Lunch at the Farm

Billy and I are so blessed to have Grandma Hill staying with us for a little over a week. She came back to Arizona with us after Emma's blessing on Sunday. I have to say I am the luckiest lady around. I have all 4 of my grandparents around still! How many people can say that who are my age! Today Billy and I took the day off to spend with Grandma. We went to a restaurant called The Farm today for lunch. It is located right in the middle of Phoenix, but has beautiful flowers around and Pecan Tress since it's a Pecan farm. There were a lot of birds chirping and it was just a relaxing meal! Grandma said she could get used to going there everyday for lunch and too bad they don't have one in Cupertino where she lives. As I drove past The Farm the other day, I thought that it would be a perfect place to take Grandma, and sure enough it was!

Emma's Blessing

Last weekend, Billy and I had the opportunity to go to Victorville to see my brother J and his family. My parents, Christi and my Grandma Hill were all there as well because Emma, my newest niece was blessed at church on Sunday. It was fun to be with J and his family for the day and as always it's great to see my parents and Grandma.

Whoever named Chicago the windy should visit Victorville. On Saturday afternoon, my dad, Christi and I took J's oldest three kids, Rosemarie, Fenton and Kathryn on a walk. Let me tell you that it was sooooo windy! When I got back to my brothers, my face was red because of windburn and it stayed that way for a couple of days. Poor Rosemarie was wearing a dress and my jean jacket. She was freezing by the end! We had fun though collecting things a long the way, and it's always good to get the kids out of the house.

Here is the whole gang (Minus Rosemarie, Fenton and Kathryn who were in Primary). It was great to be able to be there and be a part of Emma's blessing.
